Energy Efficiency Center (EEC) is pleased to announce an intensive, practice oriented, training course in ENERGY AUDIT (Non Residential) for aspiring career professionals, which will be followed by a screening examination towards certification and future association in Nepal Energy Efficiency Programme (NEEP)/GIZ sponsored energy audits, a bilateral cooperation between Government of Nepal and Government of Germany, and also with EEC in future interventions.
Objective of the Course
To equip the aspiring professionals with knowledge on Energy Efficiency, Energy Audit (EA) skills and hands on experience on Energy auditing in Industry.
Course content
The training course would cover the four modules on the lines of Energy Auditor courseware of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), India and will also include practice orientation.
Minimum qualification Requirement
- An applicant should be a Nepali Citizen
- Age below 40 years
- Engineering graduate, preferably from Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering disciplines duly registered in Nepal Engineering Council (NEC)
- Three years of experience
> Of Energy Audit/Energy Efficiency consulting experience within the Nepalese Industries after engineering graduation, OR
> Of Industrial experience in maintenance, operation of energy equipments, plant operation, allied areas within the Nepalese Industries after engineering graduation OR
> As researcher/ trainer / faculty in any technical and or techno managerial areas relevant to Nepalese Industries after engineering graduation. - A Statement of commitment, to successfully complete the course, and carry out follow up energy audit(s), under the guidance of Regional and National advisors , as part of NEEP project, is mandatory, and a brief Statement of purpose is desirable(Max 200 words).
- Eligible Women candidates are also encouraged to apply.

Course Fee
The course being a sponsored initiative under GIZ supported Nepal Energy Efficiency Programme (NEEP) a token commitment fee will be charged as follows:
- For Self-sponsored candidate: NRs. 10,000.00
