GIZ announces vacancy for the position of Programme Officer

Position: Programme Officer: Value Chain Development
Duty Station: Nepalgunj

Responsibilities
> Plan, Implement and monitor the relevant programme output at district level
> Support in implementation of the service portfolio of partner associations, cooperatives and private sector
> Support to develop & monitor the business plans of the partners, financed by the project
> Support in implementation of the Value Chain strategy and the concept of intervention for the Value Chain (production, processing marketing, innovation, etc)
> Support in production and marketing of fruits and vegetables through cooperative structures
> Establish advisory and extensive services through Value Chain actors
> Ensure the cooperation with Monitoring and Evaluation team for reporting
> Ensure a synergetic cooperation with the other output-areas of the project and with other actor in the Value Chain Development
>Perform special tasks that are bound by directives (e.g. Public Private Partnership)
